Dr. Mor Nahum is a neuroscientist and a faculty member in the School of Occupational Therapy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel since 2016. She completed her PhD at the neural computation center of the Hebrew University (ELSC) in 2009, studying perception and perceptual learning in the auditory system. She then joined Prof. Mike Merzenich in forming the Brain Plasticity Institute, a San Francisco-based company dedicated to development and research around computerized cognitive training in clinical population. In parallel, she completed her post-doctoral tenure at UC Berkeley, studying the use of action videogames for adult and child amblyopia. Between 2014 and 2016 she served as the Director of R&D at Posit Science. Since 2016 she serves as a senior lecturer and the head of the Computerized Neurotherapy Lab at the Hebrew University, where she studies the use of technology in mental health.
