After completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology, I undertook an MSc in Mental Health Studies at King's College London. After working for two years as a research assistant at KCL supporting the Cognitive Remediation in Bipolar trial, I completed a PhD on the Maudsley BRC programme supervised by Professor Allan Young. My thesis investigated the effects and treatment mechanisms of cognitive remediation therapy for euthymic people with bipolar disorder. Apart from the evaluation and management of cognition, I am particularly interested in the ways cognitive interventions can facilitate functional recovery in the long term.
